At SERVPRO®, community involvement is at the heart of everything we do. Recently, John Majeski, the owner of SERVPRO Team Majeski biked an impressive 217 miles from Port Jervis, New York, to Cape May to raise money for Tackle Kids Cancer.

This incredible journey not only tested their endurance but also showcased their commitment to making a difference. The group raised over $18,000, and with the generous matching contribution from New York Giants legend Eli Manning, a total of $36,000 was raised in one day.

The 13-hour ride concluded with a celebratory photo at the Cape May lighthouse, marking the end of their remarkable journey. John Majeski expressed his pride in being able to support such a worthy cause and spread awareness.

Every year, we take pride in supporting and giving back to the community. Whether it’s through fundraising events, local sponsorships, or participating in community activities, we are dedicated to making a positive impact.

Stay tuned for more updates on our community involvement and how we continue to serve and support our neighbors. Together, we can make a difference!

16 DAYS TO GO!!!

We're in the final countdown to the NYC Navy SEAL Swim in the Hudson River, proudly led by the owner of SERVPRO® Team Majeski. The journey of preparation has been intense, involving invigorating ocean swims, challenging pull-ups, and dedicated push-ups. All this hard work is aimed at ensuring a successful swim without any assistance from support boats.

WHY?

Our united cause is to extend unwavering support to our veterans who've selflessly served our country. This is our opportunity to give back to these exceptional individuals who have given so much.

If you're ready to stand with us and make a difference for our veterans, we invite you to be part of this meaningful mission: https://impact.navysealfoundation.org/fundraiser/4499671.

Together, we can make a powerful impact and honor our heroes.

SERVPRO of Eatontown/Long Branch Cares About Our Environment

Pier Village Beach, Long Branch

October Beach Sweep a Success!

On October 21, 2017, SERVPRO of Eatontown/Long Branch participated in the Clean Ocean Action Beach Sweep, which was conducted all over New Jersey, from Raritan Bay to the Bayshore to Cape May We captained the site at Pier Village in Long Branch, where close to 50 volunteers spent their time combing the beach for garbage.  In all, over 5,500 pieces of debris were collected and thrown away or recycled!  Last year a total of nearly 220,000 pieces of debris were removed statewide from the shore lines!

Volunteers began arriving at 9 a.m. and combed the beach until 12:30 p.m.  Although the beaches “looked” clean, the amount of debris that was found was surprising. Among typical items such as straws, candy wrappers, plastic bottle caps and cigarette butts, unusual items such as a melted beverage cooler, large plywood and metal pole were also found.

It is always important to be mindful of our environment, and how what we do affects more than just our immediate surroundings. We are very proud of our beaches, and we should make the effort to keep them clean all year long!
