Soda Blasting Cleans Fireplace
Soda blasting is a technique similar to sand or glass blasting, but uses baking soda instead. a hose is connected to a tank and the baking soda is sprayed at an extremely high force. This fireplace suffered smoke damage after a "puff back" and residual smoke odor throughout the room. As in sand blasting, the area around the fireplace was set up with containment to keep baking soda debris from flying all over the room. Using baking soda removes odor and the sulfur residue left from smoke. If you ever need restoration from fire or smoke, SERVPRO of Eatontown/Long Branch can make it "Like it never even happened."
